Similan islands

Experience the thrill of diving with visibility up to 50 meters during the diving season. Most of the dive sites in the Similan Marine National Park start at a depth of 25-30 meters. That’s why we highly recommend Open Water divers to complete the Advanced Open Water course or the Adventure Deep Dive before or during the liveaboard safari. This will allow you to explore the incredible underwater world up to a maximum depth of 30 meters. The Similan Islands, consisting of 9 stunning islands from south to north, are a diver’s paradise. Dive among giant granite boulders that continue into the ocean, creating unique dive sites on the west side of the islands. On the east side, you’ll discover sloping coral reefs with white sandy bottoms. The diversity of marine life is exceptional, thanks to the islands being uninhabited and closed for 5 months during the monsoon season (mid-May to mid-October). This closure period allows for coral reefs and marine life to rejuvenate, offering you an unforgettable underwater experience.

Koh Bon

Discover the enchantment of  Koh Bon Island, the only island in the Similan Marine National Park made entirely of limestone. This unique landscape fosters the growth of a vibrant array of soft and hard corals, creating an underwater paradise for divers. Immerse yourself in the presence of magnificent Giant Oceanic Manta Rays, graceful Whale Sharks, and other fascinating marine creatures such as Giant Guitar Fish, Marbled Rays, and Jenkins Whip Rays. Explore the captivating depths of Bon Island and encounter a rich tapestry of tropical marine life that will leave you in awe.

Koh Tachai

Embark on an extraordinary adventure to Koh Tachai, the northernmost island of the Similan Marine National Park. Its breathtaking plateau, encircled by colossal granite boulders, attracts schools of barracudas and giant trevallies. Prepare to be mesmerized by the sight of majestic Giant Oceanic Manta Rays, awe-inspiring Whale Sharks, elegant Leopard Sharks, and the elusive white tip and black tip reef sharks that roam the Koh Tachai Plateau. Along the southern and eastern shores, you’ll uncover picturesque sloping coral reefs set against pristine white sandy bottoms.

Surin islands

Dive into the splendors of Surin Marine National Park, an archipelago comprised of five islands and the legendary Richelieu Rock. Located 103 km off the coast of Khao Lak in Phang-Nga province, southern Thailand, and 88 km north of the Similan Islands, this pristine sanctuary offers underwater visibility ranging from 15 meters to an impressive 50 meters during the diving season. From mid-October to mid-May, tourists are welcome to explore this natural wonder, while the monsoon season (mid-May to mid-October) invites the park to rejuvenate. Uncover the wonders of Surin Islands, including Surin North, Surin South, Koh Ri, Koh Khai, and Koh Klang. Marvel at the captivating topography sculpted by colossal granite boulders, featuring gently sloping reefs on the east side and awe-inspiring dive sites adorned with giant granite boulders on the west. Surin South is home to the fascinating Moken Village, where you can immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the Moken people, sea nomads who traditionally traversed the Andaman Sea between Thailand and Myanmar (Burma). Visit the village during your surface interval to gain a unique insight into their captivating way of life. Richelieu rock

Richelieu Rock is an incredible diving spot located 16km east of the Surin Islands, within the Surin Marine National Park. Renowned as one of the world’s most famous dive sites, Richelieu Rock is a limestone pinnacle that supports a diverse array of soft and hard corals. This vibrant ecosystem is teeming with marine life, including big schools of Emperors, Trevallies, Barracudas, Fusiliers, Snappers, and more. Dive enthusiasts will have the opportunity to encounter fascinating macro life, such as Thorny Seahorses, Tiger-tail Seahorses, Ghost-pipe Fish, Harlequin Shrimps, and an incredible variety of nudibranch species. Notably, Richelieu Rock is also known as a gathering spot for majestic Whale Sharks. Whether you are captivated by macro or enthralled by schools of fish, Richelieu Rock should be at the top of your diving bucket list.
