Similan Discover Scuba Diving is a PADI course that will allow you to experience the magnificent Similan Reefs without having to complete a full certification course. Getting to explore this beautiful underwater world will take your Thailand Vacation to the next level.

 The first time you breathe underwater will leave you with awestruck wonder and after a few minutes you will realize how easy and amazing Scuba Diving really is. The real challenge is always getting our divers out of the water since they are always so exited and ready for more adventure.
You will learn all of the basic diving techniques you need under the supervision of one of our world class diving instructors. Going out on this Similan Discover Scuba Diving course will give you the feel for the equipment used and how to move around underwater wearing it, learning about clearing your regulator and mask and learning to use your alternate air source. We will help you learn to breathe underwater and teach you the skills and safety rules you will need when you are ready to become a certified scuba diver. The Best part is if you want to become certified with a Similan Scuba Certification course this will count as your first dive.
 Our Discover Scuba Diving course is for anyone with an interest in diving, is at least ten years old and does not have any serious health conditions can participate in this exiting adventure. Yes, Snorkeling is great but nothing beats the tranquil experience of being underwater and seeing the beautiful exotic creatures of the Similan Islands.

Imagine having your first scuba experience at one of the best dive sides in the world!
You have the opportunity to do just that in Khao Lak. For those that have always wanted to try scuba, now is your chance. After a brief training session on the principles of scuba and how to use the equipment, it’s off to the beaches of the Similan islands for your scuba diving adventure and the opportunity to see exciting marine life including tropical reef fish, diverse coral formations and fascinating marine life.

Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel/resort by taxi in Khao Lak or Phuket
At 8.45 AM our fast speedboat leaves to the Similan Islands from Khao Lak jetty.
Travel time 1- 1 1/2 hour
Our friendly and experienced crew will welcome you onboard on our big and comfortable dive boat. While enjoying a coffee our Boat master will brief you about the boat.
Our instructor will give a brief session on the principles of scuba and how to use the equipment.
After the briefing and trying out the equipment, our speedboat will bring you to the beach from where you will make your first dive into the crystal clear water and enjoy the incredible marine wildlife. All this will be done with the instructor constantly on your side. The maximum depth is 12 meters. The dive time will be 45 minutes.
Back onboard, our boat will leave to a tranquil bay where a fresh made delicate Thai lunch will be served.
With extended surface intervals there is plenty of time to sunbathe on our spacious sundeck, snorkel around the boat or just relax.
Our boat leaves to the second dive side. Our speedboat will bring you to another beach from where you will start another dive adventure under the watchful eye of or instructor.
After the dive there is time to exchange experiences, enjoy fresh fruit, have a drink and you will receive a certification.
Our speedboat will bring you back to Khao Lak or Phuket, where our taxi is waiting to bring you back to your hotel
where you will arrive between 17.00 and 17.30 PM.
