Diving Experience: Novices to Advanced scuba divers
Location: Koh Bon
Embarks: Every Wednesday 8.45 AM – Pick up from your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak.
Disembarks: 6 PM - Transfer to your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak
Expedition details
 Koh Bon is remote uninhabited island which recently added to the Similan Iislands National Park .
It’s located 20 kilometer north of Similan Island No 9. The island has no beaches and is in the shape of a horseshoe. Both above and below the surface the waves surge through holes that they have cut right through the island. The breathtaking scuba dive underwater terrain on the southwestern point has a step-down ridge that carries on to depths of over 45m. The western side of the ridge is more of a gentle slope with coral bommies forming mushroom-like formations out of the finger corals. On the ridge itself, seafans of different sizes, shapes and colors grow, and schooling fish swim in the current feeding.
This perfect feeding ground for manta rays, gives you your best chance of seeing and diving with them in the whole of the Andaman Sea.
Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel/resort by taxi in Phuket or khao Lak
Enjoy a light breakfast with fresh coffee and fruit juices at the shop
At 8.45 AM our fast speedboat leaves to Koh Bon from Khao Lak jetty.
Travel time 50 minutes
Our friendly and experienced crew will welcome you onboard on our big and comfortable dive boat. While enjoying a coffee our Boat master will brief you about the boat.
Dive groups are made based on certification level and dive experience. In this way everybody can feel
comfortable: from novice open water diver to the more experienced diver.
Each Dive Master gives a detailed briefing to his group and helps you with setting up your diving gear.
Ratio divers: 4 divers to 1 Dive Master
Plunge into the crystal clear water and enjoy the incredible marine wildlife.
Dive time 45-60 minutes
Back onboard, our boat will leave to a tranquil bay where a fresh made delicate Thai lunch will be served.
With extended surface intervals there is plenty of time to sunbathe on our spacious sundeck, snorkel around the boat or just relax.
Our boat leaves to the second dive side. The Dive Master will give a detailed briefing on this side and will help you with gearing up.
Plunge back into the water and get the experience of world-class diving.
After the dive there is time to exchange experiences, enjoy fresh fruit ,have a drink and fill in the logbooks.
Our speedboat will bring you back to Khao Lak, where our taxi is waiting to bring you back to your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak
where you will arrive between 18.00 and 18.30 PM.
