Expedition details
 About 7 nautical miles off the coast of Khao Lak lays the Boonsung wreck. Sunk in 1984, this old tin dredger that is 60 meters in length, 12 meters wide and 6 meters high, and lies positioned in a north to south direction on serene flat sand at 18 to 20 meters. The wreck is fully covered with barnacles and sponges. Nudibranches, spotted morays, white eyed morays, zebra morays and leopard morays, lionfish and scorpionfish find their house on the deck. Tones of fish gather around here, such as schools of barracuda’s batfish, travellies and snappers. On the sand floor, you can often see leopard sharks and tiny flounders and flatheads wedged in the sand.
During the whale shark season (February, March) there is a good change to encounter a whale shark.
Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel/resort by taxi.
At 9 AM our custom build longtail boat leaves to the Boonsung wreck from Tab Lamud harbour.
Travel time 1/2 hour.
Dive groups are made based on certification level and dive experience. In this way everybody can feel
comfortable: from novice open water diver to the more experienced diver.
Each Dive Master gives a detailed briefing to his group and helps you with setting up your diving gear.
Ratio divers: 4 divers to 1 Dive Master.

Dive time 45-60 minutes
Back onboard, a delicate Thai lunch will be served.
After the 1 hour surface interval, the Dive Master will give a detailed briefing for the next dive and will help you with gearing up.
Plunge back into the water and get the experiences of tropical wreck diving.
After the dive our longtail boat will return back to the harbour , time to exchange experiences, have a drink and fill in the logbooks.
Arriving back at Tab Lamub harbour, where our taxi is waiting to bring you back to your hotel, where you will arrive around 14.00 PM.
